Help to Save is a government-backed savings scheme that pays a tax-free bonus of 50p for every £1 saved over 4 years. Savers can deposit between £1 and £50 each calendar month and earn a total bonus of up to £1,200.

Who can open an account
You can open an account if you live in the UK and receive Working Tax Credit or Child Tax Credit, or if you receive Universal Credit and earned £1 or more in your last assessment period. It takes less than 5 minutes to set up online or through the HMRC app.
